Puppies Do the Craziest Things

Ok, so on Sunday after I washed dishes I put these empty milk gallons on top of the counter so Charlie won't get them...Well see the thing is that I don't have to waste my money on dog toys because her favorite thing is milk gallons! &sometimes she sees the milk gallons on the counter &likes to try to get them down to play with...&so this day was no different...except one thing...

The Weekend

Friday----

I decided to take Charlie to Orangewood Little League Field (since its not an active league anymore). So I asked Danny if he would like to come with me and Charlie so I could let her free in the gated baseball field...&so we were off...

&we got her exhausted! which was the goal...she needed the open space to run, especially when its a new place for her...

She played fetch with us &of course being the brat she is, just went for the ones she felt like getting...then chasing Danny to get the baseballs out in center field. She had a blast i could tell til of course it got too hot for her and she was tired! Ready to go back home &of course she probably missed Ruby (other dog, her mother-figure).

Saturday----

Danny's Family & I got invited to one of the Deacon's 50th Wedding Vow Renewals Ceremony. Deacon Gary has been in Danny's life for a very long time, even before Danny was born so he is very important to their family &means a lot to Danny. And so we went to celebrate this very big ceremony with Deacon Gary &his wife Marge. 50 years!!! Wow!!!
Me &Danny outside church...
&during the reception...between waiting for the food &the mingling with everyone me &Danny kept ourselves entertained...

&Danny made this with the bead-jewel mancala looking things...(idk what they are called)

Me &Raymond...singing me i think a Lady Gaga song...

My Danny...

Brotherly love...

Danny &Deacon Gary :) he's so sweet

That was our Saturday spent with friends from church &celebrating 50 years of marriage with 2 of the sweetest &dedicated people I have ever met. 50 years is wow!! It's amazing how 2 people can stay together &deal with the other for that long &still be so in love with each other. I hope i have that...i hope i get to celebrate 50 years of marriage...with my Danny. :) &still love him :) i am sure i will.

Even 25 years is a long time! so to those who have been married for that long so far &still in love...all i have to say is wow!&i am happy for you!...but i guess that's why they say to marry your best friend, i am planning on marrying mine ;) love ya Danny.

Sunday---

A very lazy &relaxing day...spent going to church and then spending the day at home with family...it was just a little weird for me because i am used to working on Sundays &to have the weekend off i felt a little lost.

So I decided to take the twinkies to go see a movie that they had been wanting to see...

[it's about the first Mexican team winning the Little League World Series in 1957]

&that was my weekend.not much but I had fun spending time with the ones I love very much. :)

Michael Buble

So Danny surprised me and bought tickets for us to see Michael Buble in concert. He knows how much i love him &his music of course...&Danny feels the same way ever since i played Michael Buble's music for him.
Danny bought the tickets in December and the concert was not til April...that wait was so long! I was so excited and could not wait to go! And so the day came &oh how happy i was to finally see the dreamy Michael Buble!&his Crazy Love Tour! :)
And so we left about 3 hours before the show actually started, because it was both our first times going to the Staples Center so we wanted to make sure we didn't get lost and plus Danny knew i wanted tacos from my favorite taco place in LA :) he always knows how to make me happy...especially happy when i get food.
After getting delicious tacos we were on our way to the Staples Center, which was about 12 miles away from where we ate so should not be too bad...but on a Friday night, around 6 the traffic to get to downtown was a mess. But we made it to the Staples Center with enough time to take our time to walk to the entrance (they didn't let us in til 7pm). So me and Danny had fun seeing the crowd and especially since i pointed out to him that we were probably the only young people out of a handful of people. The crowd there was pretty much older people, like my parents age, dressed up all nice, while i was in jeans and a shirt and Danny in a nice button up shirt so we didn't stick out too much.So then the time came to go into the Staples Center to find our seats...took us a while but then we realized that Danny got Premier Seating which was cool! They were really good seats! I liked it! 8 o'clock came and the openers for Michael Buble was a group called Naturally 7...&apparently to Michael Buble they are Naturally 10 1/2. lol...Anyways they are a really amazing group! They perform without any instruments...just their voices...it was amazing how they can make the sounds of drums, electric guitar, harmonica etc. (youtube them!) After an hour of performing it was Michael Buble time! :) It was intense!
And so came his intro...started with "Cry Me a River"(and no not the Justin Timberlake song lol)

[i tried to add the video i took but it just wouldn't upload...guess you are just gonna have to see him in concert yourself ;) ]

I loved his entrance!
The concert was awesome! He played most of his songs from his Crazy Love CD plus "Home", "Me &Mrs Jones", "Everything", "Save The Last Dance for Me"...In the middle of the concert he explained that many people think his idol is Frank Sinatra but in fact his idol was Michael Jackson &to everyone's surprise he did the moonwalk and sang one of Michael Jackson's songs. It was great!
And of course we got shirts...
(danny got a green one w/tour dates on the back &i got this blue one)
I loved the concert! I wanna see him again when he comes back to the U.S. I loved our date out to see our favorite artist! It was fun! Michael Buble is funny &he sounds the same as he does on his CDs! So if you ever get the chance go see him in concert!
And so our next concerts we are going to see is Lifehouse in May &Jack Johnson in October! We are on a concert roll! lol :)
